ECS was acquired by Amphenol CIT in October 2009, bringing more than 30 years of experience in design, certification and turnkey manufacturing of electrical and structural products. Amphenol CIT acquired Thermax in 2012 adding to Amphenol CIT’s extensive harsh environment, high-performance wire & cable product line servicing the commercial aerospace, defense and industrial markets. Thermax complimented Amphenol CIT’s extensive range of mil-spec and OEM specification wire & cable as well as designs for specialty applications. Thermax’s capabilities include extrusion of high-temperature fluoropolymer materials such as PTFE, ETFE, and FEP among others.
